In an exclusive interview with THE MAN, Katrina spoke about fitness, Bharat, love, food and much more.

Here are excerpts from the conversation:

What does this box office success mean to you?

It’s amazing and I am very grateful to the audience who have taken out time to watch this movie and my every other movie. This kind of box office success motivates me to work harder and be a part of good storytelling and challenge myself  as an actor and deliver my best to the audience.

Your fitness mantra? What keeps you so fit and glowing?

I try having good amount of protein, vegetable, good carbohydrates like rice, sweet potato. The one important thing I stick to is I avoid refined sugar, dairy products and wheat. My fitness mantra is whatever makes you feel good, we have one life, one body, so take care of it. Take care of the body in the best way you can, you don’t need your look to  be defined by any kind of conventional stereotype or anyone’s else’s opinion. So, do your best, look your best and don’t try to fit in anyone else’s picture. Eat well, exercise, do yoga. Once you are active, happy and fit, you’ll feel the glow inside out.

How does Reebok fit your fashion style? Tell us something about your association with it.

To collaborate with Reebok was a natural choice and I am very proud to be associated with an iconic brand that stands by the same philosophies as I do. Fitness accounts for a big part in my life and Reebok personifies the attitude of the modern healthy woman flawlessly. I am looking forward to this association as a platform to stir up interesting dialogues and conversations around fitness, women training and body image amongst others. Fitness to me is about being and feeling healthy and it is great to be able to have a partner in that.
