There's a world of exorbitantly expensive items out there other than yachts, cars, or  islands, if you want to park you money in baubles. We tracked down six suggestions should you be in the mood to open your wallet this holiday season. 

1. Diamond teabag for $14,000 (Rs 9.84 lakh approx)

Boodles jewellers, a British company made this unique teabag in 2005 to celebrate tea-maker PG Tips (the first UK brand to be fully Rainforest Alliance certified) 75th birthday. Hand-crafted using 280 diamonds, the tea bag is believed to the world's most expensive.

2. Gold toilet paper for $1,376,900 (Rs 9 crore approx) Picture credits:

This ultra soft roll of toilet paper was made by an Australian company called Toilet Paper Man. The 3-ply toilet paper is made from 24-karat gold. According to the company's website, "As you use the toilet paper, 24-karat gold flakes will fall onto the floor and (from) your behind taking you to another level of sophistication." Uh, okay.

3. Stuart Hughes Gold iPhone for $ 15.3 million (Rs 1.08 million approx)

Stuart Hughes, a UK-based designer crafted this iPhone at the behest of a Chinese businessman. It is coated in solid gold and has both white and black diamonds on it.

If you like having top-shelf liquor, you’d better be enjoying it with to-shelf ice. That’s the idea behind Glace Luxury Ice, a Californian company that hand crafted perfectly square cubes of ice. According to the company website, the product is superior to regular ice because it's "purified of minerals, additives and other pollutants."

Most bicycle makers are trying to make their bikes lighter and stronger. But who needs a steel or carbon bicycle body when you could go solid gold (or at least gold-plated)? Goldgenie manufactures these racing bikes which are covered in a layer of 24-karat gold.
